From a childhood fascination with my grandfather's leather-cased cameras in London, England and Melbourne, Australia, to countless nights under the Texas Hill Country sky, I've spent a lifetime chasing the perfect moment through a lens. A self-driven photographer since my teenage years — pedaling across Melbourne's coastlines and rainforests with a 35mm SLR slung over my shoulder — I've since taken my camera across Europe, Asia, and the Middle East, finding compelling images everywhere I've pointed it. Now based in the central Texas area, I channel that same restless curiosity into landscape, night sky and weather photography, teach astronomy and astrophotography, and have launched my own astrophotography school in Central Texas. A member of Astronomers Without Borders, the Planetary Society, and SETI, I bring a global perspective and a lifetime of hard-won craft to everything I shoot and teach.
